Privacy Policy

Effective August 18, 2026. Counsel must review this before you rely on it. It is not legal advice.

This policy describes how Nuwave Adjusting Inc (3333 Warrenville Rd Suite 200, Lisle, IL 60532) handles information when you use Umpire Select. It is a draft for attorney review, not legal advice. Questions: privacy@umpireselect.com.

1. Who This Covers

We collect information from appraisers who create accounts. We also receive information about insureds and nominated umpires that those appraisers upload. Insureds and umpires typically never visit this site. The uploading appraiser represents that they have authority to provide that information, as stated in the Terms Of Service.

2. What We Collect

Account: legal name, email, company, phone, password hash or OAuth identifiers, and IP addresses on signatures.

Claim files: claim number, insured name, loss address, date of loss, carrier, policy number, and jurisdiction. That is personal information about people who did not sign up.

Selection records: nominated umpire names, companies, phones, and emails; strikes; consent names; seeds; and the court-record PDF after a draw.

Technical: logs needed to operate, secure, and debug the service.

3. How We Use It

To run selections, issue court records, contact you about your account, detect abuse, comply with law, and (when billing is live) process payment. We do not sell personal information. We do not use insured or umpire contact details for marketing.

4. What You Must Not Upload

Do not upload Social Security numbers, medical records, driver's license images, bank accounts, or other sensitive data that is not needed to identify a claim and run a selection.

5. Processors

We may use Stripe (payments), Resend (email), Supabase (database, auth, storage), Vercel or other hosts, Google or Microsoft (sign-in), and Sentry (errors). Each processor handles data under its own terms.

6. Retention

Completed selection records are kept as legal records for 7 years, or longer if law requires. A completed record is anonymized rather than fully deleted when a deletion request is honored, except as the court record must remain authentic. Open drafts may be deleted sooner.

7. Umpires As Data Subjects

Nominated umpires did not create accounts. An umpire may email privacy@umpireselect.com to ask what we hold and to request correction or deletion where the law allows. We may keep a completed court record even if a contact field is later limited.

8. Requests And Security

Appraisers may update account details in Admin Panel. Privacy requests: privacy@umpireselect.com. Security reports: security@umpireselect.com. Effective August 18, 2026.
