Participation Agreement

Both appraisers accept this short agreement when a selection starts (send or accept) and again at consent. It is the document a court is most likely to read if the draw is challenged. It does not replace the Terms Of Service.

I am authorized to select an umpire on behalf of my principal. I agree with the other appraiser that the umpire drawn by Umpire Select's published procedure is our jointly selected umpire, unless the policy, a statute, or a court order requires otherwise. I will confirm the umpire's qualifications, disinterest, availability, and conflicts. I consent to sign electronically. I acknowledge that Umpire Select is a selection tool, does not vet or endorse umpires, is not a party to the appraisal, and does not provide legal advice. If the other appraiser is affiliated with Nuwave Adjusting Inc, I have been shown that notice and may walk away at no charge.
